Environmental Practices

Every mill that we work with is environmentally sound and works hard to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

They manage this by complying with all applicable environmental legislation and other provisions:

1. Membership of forestry certification scheme such as the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and/or the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), to make sure that raw material does not come from illegal or unauthorized harvesting.

2. Actively seeking to reduce the amount of waste and increase waste sorting and recycling.

3. Striving for more efficient energy consumption and resource economy.

4. Seeking to reduce the use of harmful and environmentally hazardous substances.
